This series is an adaptation and compression of the book The Age of Nihilism in which the author explores the nature, origin, and source of "progressive" thought as it relates to the “culture wars.”


McManus argues that modern progressives are the inheritors of the tradition of revolutionary nihilism, a tradition which began with the Jacobins in 1789 and has been faithfully followed by every progressive revolutionary movement since that time.


The “culture war” is not a war—it’s a revolution.
